Summer and winter hillwalking days in the Monadhliath Mountains
Base out of Newtonmore in the Central Highlands we have a central location to access a variety of Munros. You will have the opportunity to a number of classic Munro tops. The Munros provide solitude form the crowds in the Cairngorms, Glen Coe and Ben Nevis ranges.
A the rear of Newtonmore are the Munros of Carn Dearg 945m, Carn Sgulain 920m, A’ Chailleach 930m. At Lagan is Ceal Charn 926m.

The course
Two days of guided walking up the high peaks in the Newtonmore area.

Tracing faint paths, starkers routs and old fence-lines hopefully and have fine vantage points Our groups are small group led by an experienced leader with a good knowledge of the wildlife, flora and geology. A chance to visit Red Bothy. Providing an opportunity to bag 4 Munros.
Moderate / Strenuous mountain days.

Option to extend an extra day to bag more Munros.

Winter on the Monadhliath Mountains.
As the summer course, but hopeful in winter condition in a great area to develop your winter skills with ice axe, crampons, navigation and snowshoes. You will need personal hill walking equipment suitable for winter conditions.
Strenuous mountain days.
